Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Aiken Residents Directory is a private reference. It cannot pull or certify records, confirm an address, or remove information from a government roll. Direct those requests to the office that holds the record. For emergencies, call 911. If someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local law enforcement.
Choose the Aiken Record Route
Use the record type to choose the right public office or collection. The reference pages identify the online starting points and the limits that go with them.
- Street, parcel, and ownership trail: use the Aiken street directory route.
- Dated directory volumes and earlier households: use the Aiken city directory collections.
- A specific name or record match: use the Aiken resident lookup steps.
- County public records request: use South Carolina FOIA with the custodian for the record type.

FOIA is South Carolina’s Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann. tit. 30, ch. 4. Records held by courts, the Clerk, or other elected offices can have a separate request route or fee schedule, so send the request to the named custodian rather than assuming the County Administrator holds every record.
